Hello Horizons

Parent setup notice — before child accounts open

Version: parent-prelaunch-2026-11-04-v1

Hello Horizons LLC, 14469 Jamaica Dogwood Dr., Orlando, FL 32828, United States. Contact support@hello-horizons.com. This workspace saves the signed-in adult account reference, its account email, the selected learner age band, setup status, this notice version, and a dated history of the adult’s setup actions. Wix hosts these records. We use this information only to prepare and support parent account setup, not to create a child account or send marketing. Do not enter a child’s name, email, birthday, school, photograph, voice recording, or other personal details here. No child account, teaching access, microphone, public profile, friends feature, or purchase is enabled by this request. Reading this notice or checking a box is not verified parental consent. Before children’s access opens, Hello Horizons must provide a final child privacy notice identifying the information and processors used for teaching, purposes, retention/deletion timeframes, and parent rights; verify the parent using an appropriate method; and obtain consent to those disclosed practices. Parents will be able to request review, correction and deletion, and withdraw permission. Parent setup can be withdrawn here now; for access or deletion requests contact support@hello-horizons.com. No verification document or government ID is collected in this workspace. No consent request email is sent by saving. The initial test group will use signed forms reviewed by authorized staff. The final form, child privacy notice, secure document-handling process and child-account connection are still being prepared.

The steps before a child starts

  1. Parent signs in with their own account and reads this setup notice.
  2. Parent saves an age-band-only setup request. No child account is created.
  3. Hello Horizons publishes its final child privacy notice and connects the chosen parent verification method.
  4. Parent reviews that final notice and completes verification and permission. Setup acknowledgments do not replace this.
  5. Only after verified permission and account linking are ready can the parent create a child profile and oversee access.

Controls being prepared

Review a linked learner’s saved progress, control available features, withdraw permission, and request access to or deletion of their information. These controls are not active yet. Child-to-child messaging, public leaderboards, audio collection and live teaching are not enabled through parent setup.

Signed forms are one of the methods described by the FTC’s parent-consent guidance. Hello Horizons has selected staff-reviewed signed forms for the initial test group. The packet is in draft review; signing and verification are not enabled yet.
